Victory!

We went to swim lesson today and it was a victory.

Aidan was awesome, totally at ease with his new teacher and new swim buddies. I worked out for half an hour, burned 200 calories (according to the machine, although it never asked me for my weight...) and got to watch Aidan swim at the same time.

Victory was mine.

I am really excited about this, excited for Aidan's potential Olympic swimming career, but also for my own physical buffness.

I also convinced my malpractice career to give me a discount for my premium for next year. Victory!

Tomorrow, we tackle ice skating lessons for his eventual career as an Olympic figure skater, speed skater, or ice hockey player. I think I offer this child too many choices.
